Apart from the usual great colorways seen seasonally with the Pro_Spec 1.0, we also like to make special editions of DC’s driving shoe on occasion, usually to congratulate drivers on monumental accomplishments. Here are a few very limited colorways of the Pro_Spec v1.0 that we’ve made (under the lead of Ken Block) for a few very talented drivers.

TRAVIS PASTRANA 2006 GOLD SHOES—to congratulate Travis Pastrana on an incredible year that included his winning of the Rally America National Championship and the gold at X Games, we created a gold pair of Rally shoes. A unique design feature, each shoe features a different pattern: one shoe commemorates his X Games gold while the other represents his championship title.

TRAVIS PASTRANA 2007 GOLD SHOES—in 2007 TP won his second-straight Rally America National Championship. To commemorate the accomplishment another pair of gold Pro_Spec’s was created: one shoe features “#1, 2006 Rally America National Championship” pattern while the other features “#1, 2007 Rally America National Championship” pattern. Congratulations Travis!

VAUGHN GITTEN JR—known simply as “JR” by many, he’s a self-taught and dedicated professional drift driver. His attitude—best described as all or nothing and aggressive—and his style have made him a favorite amongst fans of that driving genre. A true American patriot that sticks to the all-American Ford Mustang, we made these very American red, white, and blue Pro_Spec’s especially for him.

KUMAKUMO TEAM ORANGE—hailing from Japan, Kuma is one of the original pioneers of drifting. A true competitor and sport ambassador Kuma is the classic guy to beat when it comes to drift competitions, even creating his own track and testing facility in Japan called Ebisu. Being that his cars are always orange and he leads Team Orange, we colored up a special orange/black colorway to salute the master.

TRAVIS AND KB’S WORN SHOES FROM 2006 X GAMES (with medals)—in the first-ever Rally Car Racing event at X Games 12 the DC team killed it. Ken took the Bronze while Travis took the Gold. Here are the shoes they wore to win the hardware. Pro_Spec v.1.0’s: certainly proven on the dirt and tarmac proving grounds of X Games.

TRAVIS AND KB’S WORN SHOES FROM WRC MEXICO 2007— in 2007 the guys headed down to Leon, Mexico for their first World Rally Championship event. Travis faired remarkable well in his class, the Production World Rally (P-WRC) class taking 5th overall. Both guys list the event as an amazing experience, especially as they now compete in more and more WRC events.

KB’S SHOES FROM 2007 RALLY COLORADO WIN—after winning the event, Ken dedicated the victory to his good friend, former WRC champion, and rally legend, the late Colin McRae who passed away in a helicopter accident just before the event. The shoes were worn just once.
